Assessment of day old chick performance in Woreta town

Survey was conducted in Woreta town South Gonder zone, Amharam Regional state. A total of 20 day-old chick growers were involved which 14 and 6 respondents male female participated the surveying study, respectively. Respondents selected by purposely based on their holding capacity. The objectives to assess day old performance study area. simple statistical methods used analyze data. results revealed that, 3233 (20.61%) chicks with reduced death 1811 (11.2%), disease influence 1330 (8.8%) malformed physical state 92 (0.61%). From these 79.39% survived reach marketing age. This indicates lower To reduce this problem proper husbandry practice must be conduct. technical support should providing for growing farmers.
